Anti-Poison Bait Workshops

Verena Helfrich gave a workshop on this important topic on April 10th. The participants spent the day learning step by step how to prevent their dog from picking up and eating things from the ground.

They practiced the all-important skill of teaching their dogs to “ask” and to control their impulse when they see something which interests them, to identify potentially dangerous items as well as recognizing symptoms of poisoning when in doubt and how to react if their dog has swallowed something toxic. We shall be arranging more workshops on this topic in the coming months.
